Season 3 continues the story right where it left of in season 2 – picking up after Georgia’s cliffhanger arrest for Tom Fuller’s murder. This season shifts towards a darker legal drama while retaining the show’s mix of humor, teen angst, and mother-daughter conflict. Ginny must balance school, where everyone knows what is happening with her mom and helping Marcus (who she still has a complicated relationship with) with his depression. In an attempt to escape the pressures, Ginny meets a new boy named Wolfe who ends up putting Ginny in a tough situation.

The show was renewed for a season 3 and season 4 at the same time. There was a two year wait between season 2 and 3 because of the 2023 writers strike. Filming took place in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) from April 29, 2024 to September 2, 2024.
